Financial Assistance

The YMCA of Saratoga makes the commitment that no one will be denied access to any of our programs due to lack of financial resources.  The YMCA of Saratoga raises funds each year to help provide assistance for our financial aid program. Grant writing activities, combined with our fundraising programs, aim to develop a pool of financial resources large enough to meet the needs of the individuals, children and families who want to use our programs, but cannot afford to pay the full program fees. However, there is a limited amount of assistance available based on the amount contributed by individuals and organizations in our community. Financial assistance can only be granted to the extent that it can be funded. All assistance is available based on demonstrated need without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, or physical or mental handicap.

The purpose of the YMCA Financial Assistance program is to provide opportunities for families and individuals who are unable to pay full program fees. Assistance is awarded on a sliding fee scale and can be applied to a portion of the cost of   the program. Financial Assistance determinations are based on household gross income and household size. Extenuating circumstances may be considered.
