Throughout the year, the YMCA of Saratoga sponsors events for the community. These events include the YMCA of Saratoga Golf Tournament, Harness Track Mile, First Night Saratoga and much more.   "Lend An Ear Because We Are Head Over Heels for The YMCA Of Saratoga"   

This is an event that benefits the YMCA of Saratoga's scholarship fund which supports children, families and individuals in our community who otherwise could not afford to participate in YMCA programs and services.  This event will feature a silent auction of new and gently used earrings.  Taryn Rose, orthopedic surgeon turned shoe designer, will be the Guest Speaker and will hold an "If the Shoe Fits" contest at  randomly selected tables.  If you or several women at your table fit in the shoe, you all can pick up the pair of shoes at Saratoga Trunk in return for your $75 donation to the YMCA of Saratoga.  Gemesis Jewels will sell a special collection of earrings using the Gemesis cultured yellow diamonds at the event.  The luncheon will also feature milliners who will sell their designer hats.  Saratoga Trunk will hold a fashion show of the latest styles.  10% of all proceeds of sales generated at this event will be donated to the YMCA of Saratoga and 100% of the proceeds from the silent auction of earrings will be donated to the YMCA of Saratoga.  Meet Michael B. Levinson, Interior Designer, collector of vintage wallpaper, and author of Launch It! at the event.  Michael B. Levinson will be showing his vintage wallpaper at several public venues in Saratoga Springs this summer.  Date:  Tuesday, August 5, 2008  Place:  Hall of Springs, SPA State Park, Saratoga Springs, New York  Time:  11:00 am - 3:00 pm  Price $100 per person  Junior Price:  (under 30 years old) $75 per person.  A portion of this event will also be donated to the backstretch workers of all three New York State racetracks.  Honorary Chair:  Agatha Benton Major Media Sponsor:  Saratoga Living Magazine

First Night Saratoga
First Night Saratoga is the YMCA's premiere family event. A non-alcoholic New Year's Eve Celebration of the Arts, First Night Saratoga brings together musicians, dancers, theater groups, magicians and any other act you can think of for one giant evening of celebration.
